We offer a fascinating and rare Heuer Ref. 2406, a vintage chronograph dating back to the early 1940s, featuring the classic two-counter configuration, a distinctive black dial with large Arabic numerals, and the reliable Landeron 13 mechanical movement. The watch retains an element of particular interest to the collector: the original Heuer tag, which bears the reference 2406 and the number 47255, corresponding to the case numbering. It also comes with the original Heuer box, an item that is particularly rare today with a chronograph from this period. The black dial is one of the most distinctive and sought-after aspects of this chronograph. The configuration features large Arabic numerals, an external minute track, and two recessed subdials, creating the typical look of Heuer chronograph instruments from the first half of the 1940s.
