An extremely elegant and rare original vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre from the 1940s/1950s, featuring a stunning minimalist “Calatrava” design and a very modern feel thanks to the large, oversized case. The watch features a magnificent original two-tone dial with a splendid, even natural patina, applied 12-3-6-9 numerals, faceted indexes, and large, extremely refined dauphine hands.
Excellent overall vintage condition considering the watch’s age. It shows normal signs of age and use. The dial is very beautiful and well-preserved with an authentic patina. The movement is in working order. An extremely elegant and collectible vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre, with a strong Patek Philippe/Calatrava feel and a design typical of post-war Swiss haute horlogerie.
