Longines Automatic Ultra-Chron ref. 7970. Vintage watch from the 1970s. Longines caliber 431 self-winding mechanical movement. Steel case measuring 40.5 x 36.7 mm excluding crown, 43 mm including crown, “cushion” style. Rotating black Bakelite bezel with orange indexes (typical diver-style). Longines caliber 431 automatic movement, 36,000 vibrations per hour (Hi-Beat) → very high precision for the time. Original, never-worn lizard/reptile-style leather strap (widely used at the time), with heat-stamped hourglass, closed by a deployant with winged hourglass logo. Watch in excellent overall condition, in perfect working order, and completely serviced in January 2026.
